The true success of any work of Caritas and by extension the Roman Catholic Church can only be realized through the result of constant prayer.
Of course the planning and execution of the event, whether large or small has to be organized. But if we truly want our work to touch the hearts of people around us and beyond is entirely of another order. It is the order of grace and the true fruit of constant prayer. Such prayer is usually accompanied by constant intrinsic explosions of joy and excitement that come from the knowledge that we are never alone in the work we do (Matthew 28:20). At the end of the day it is the Lord’s work (Matthew 6:10).
